Blackstone Project

Blackstone

The Blackstone project was the modified rehabilitation of an 11-story building housing 145 occupied elderly units.

The scope of work included the relocation and renovation of offices and community spaces, and some apartments. The rooftop patio was completely reconstructed and reconfigured. Systems improvements included replacement of the buildings’ heating and hot water systems; the fire alarm, smoke exhaust, and electrical systems were upgraded, and a new energy recovery unit (ERU) was integrated into the building’s ventilation system.
